HOW TO UNDERSTAND STUDENTS`NEEDS

Well, every teacher worries about how to prepare a good class and have nice activities for the students in order to make them feel comfortable to leand and make them have a possitive attitude during the class.

Students must be treate as human beings, they have feelings and needs. The good teacher must concentrate on these and take into account their worries in order to prepare the correct activity and develope a great atmosphere in the classroom to carry out a successful class and reach the learning goals.

Dealing with students!

It’s very difficult to deal with students who have a negative attitude in class, even when they don’t want to learn a second language. In early stages it is not so difficult if you try to teach using games and activities where they can participate and express themselves in order to make them love the language (this sometimes works with children because they don’t have a strong personality) so we can have motivated and happy students in the classroom.
We need to lead with different factors that influence this issue, one of the most important is taking into account the ‘multiple intelligences’ and try to do different kind of activities so that they feel comfortable and free to participate showing interest and exploring their skills.

What to do...

Sometimes we don’t know what to do in a classroom because of students’ behavior; we don’t understand what’s going through their minds and what are they thinking about us and the class… this can cause problems and in some cases desmotivation (student and teacher)
That’s why we need to analyze them; try to be in their shoes in order to become their friends and know their feelings, thoughts, likes etc.

What do you think is the best way to do that??
